because this is once again on my dash um
if a baby has a heartbeat, it’s alive
regardless of whether said baby can survive on its own is an irrelevant point
because, it is alive.
and you know what they call it when you permanently get rid of…

They are. They’re both living beings. Bacteria is living. They both feed off of my body. I want neither of them. They need to go. And that’s just what would happen.

Actually, both aren’t living “beings”, both are living but an infection isn’t a “being” because it is doesn’t have a soul and has no meaning of life other than to infect and destroy cells and cause harm to your body.. Babies don’t destroy cells, and while they do cause discomfort to some they don’t harm your body in most cases.
Do you not believe human beings have souls? Guess not.

Well personally? I don’t believe in the soul. But regardless, if there is a fetus leaching off my body I have every right to remove it. Once I do, it cannot live on it’s own. But even that much doesn’t matter to me because it’s not about the fetus. It’s about the person carrying it. It will always be about the person carrying it.

When you make the decision to have sex you accept the responsibility to deal with all outcomes. A baby is a result of something YOU did, so YOU shouldn’t have the right to take it’s away for purely selfish reasons. I do agree that in some medical instances, such as that the baby won’t survive or the mother won’t survive, a medical abortion is necessary. But to murder a “fetus” as you call it, just because you don’t want a child or don’t want to get fat or whatever, is selfish and morally wrong. Sorry, but you won’t ever convince me otherwise.

I call it a fetus because that’s scientifically what it is. Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. You’re making pregnancy sound like a punishment? Why? Shouldn’t pregnancy be a beautiful wanted thing? Why would you wish to punish somebody for having sex and not wanting the responsibility of a child? Why would you want somebody to suffer through a pregnancy that they don’t to want?

Pregnancy IS a result of sex and a baby IS one result of pregnancy. Just because there’s an easy way out doesn’t mean it’s right. There are thousands of families who want a child but are unable to have one, and I believe that every child/pregnancy/”fetus” is a gift from God and should be treated as such.

How in the fuck could you call it the east way? You obviously don’t get how difficult of a situation it is to make. And just because you believe a child is a “gift from god” doesn’t mean everyone else has to. I for one am an atheist. And I say a birth is absolutely beautiful when the pregnant person WANTS TO GIVE BIRTH.
There are millions of children in foster care right now, waiting to finally have a family. Go adopt a child who is in need instead of harassing somebody so they’ll have a child that will become another victim of the system.

WHEN SOMEONE HAS SEX THEY ACCEPT ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT COMES WITH HAVING SEX. STDS, PREGNANCY, etc. if they really don’t want a baby there are medical procedures to prevent it. An unwanted pregnancy is most often the result of failure to use contraception on the mothers part. Instead of terminating an unwanted pregnancy maybe one should instead consider using contraception to prevent the pregnancy in the first place.

Are you fucking kidding me? What if the person doesn’t want to have a baby? And you’re totally disregarding adoption here.

so you AGREE with adoption here, but in regards to trying and argue with me about whether or not the baby deserves to live, adoption is out of the question. Good work, your opinion is officially even more irrelevant

murder.

Okay so next time someone gets MRSA or a staff infection and they take antibiotics to kill it they’re committing murder?
Gotcha.

I’m pretty sure a baby and an infection aren’t even close to the same thing…
